Safeguard Volunteer
Safeguard Volunteer has been developed to support Trusts' recruit and manage volunteers within their organisation. Designed in conjunction with the NHS, it ensures the skills of volunteers are properly used and matches volunteers to the opportunities available.

Safeguard Volunteer captures the workflow and processes for the Trust's recruitment, ensuring that the time between application and placement is kept to a minimum. The System provides time frames between each stage of the process, prompting the user when information is expected. For example receipt of references, self declaration forms, CRB disclosures and checks. The process is audited and the Trust sets its own Targets for completion.

The system allows for a volunteer to break, and return without repeating the whole recruitment process.

Organisations set their individual stages and targets, with reminders when targets are approaching. In addition, there is an overall Target Date to indicate that this process must be completed within a user defined number of weeks. The Trust can measure performance against targets. Outcomes indicate if the volunteer was placed.
