Ulysses has done much work with the transfer of information from other applications.

To complete the data transfer a day is spent on site to analyse the System, take screen shots so that we can see what the System does and how it holds the data. A sample of data is taken off site (information is anonymised) and the configuration programs written to transfer the data. During the time that these are developed, you can continue to use your existing Systems and the conversions are finally run on site by a Ulysses consultant on the current data. This ensures that you do not have any System down time and can use the System right up to the time of the conversion.

We always ensure that the data is brought across to give the “best fit” possible, to maximise the benefit of that past data. We also ensure that you are not hindered in your use of a new System by the past data.

The cost of this depends on the complexity of the incoming data. An exact cost is given after preliminary analysis of the data.
